One Hundred Push-Ups: Week Two/Day Two

by | Oct 5, 2011 | Blog | 0 comments

I had my second visit in a week to the orthopedic group today, this time for some freak accident thing with the knuckle in the middle of my left hand. My finger has been black and blue for a week….somewhere around day 4 of the wall push-up week.  He asked if I could have injured it at the gym in some way.  “No, I don’t think so”, I replied…. I am not a good fibber so I came clean with the routine I have been on.  (He remembered the hula-hoop incident!)

“Rest it”, he said.  So I took today off and apologized once more to my old body for putting it in harm’s way. I have the finger buddy-wrapped to the ring finger but to no avail…and no relief.

Tomorrow is another day, Day three and I will be back to complete the next round of counter-level push-ups. This exercise business is tough work.

About Me

KarenHello and welcome.
I am often asked, “What is Pasta on the Floor?”
Pasta on the Floor is different for everyone. It is a recipe that tells a story and inspires them to try something new. For others, stories of family, joy, loss, and hope engage with them. This brings me a great deal of happiness. I do not take myself too seriously, so be forewarned the subject matter is open and truthful. In many ways, Pasta is a tale of life, and I think you will find familiarity and commonality as you scroll through these pages.
