One Hundred Push-Ups: Week Three/Day One

by | Oct 10, 2011 | Blog | 0 comments

When I began this challenge two weeks ago, it never crossed my mind that I would not be able to progress through all the stages.  I have to be honest and tell you, I cannot do a chair level push-up.  I tried and I hovered there like a spazz with arms shaking and butt in the air.  I could not lower myself down. So, what do I do?

I tried the knee push-ups….ouch…forgot I had knee surgery three months ago…..

I am going to go back to the counter-push-ups.  I can’t quit now, what a wimp!  I will go back and do another week of the counter level push-ups and maybe find a lower counter before I go all the way to the chair.

This sounds absolutely ridiculous but it bothers me that I cannot do it….so I will continue on. I had to eat a bite size Snickers to settle myself.  Now I need to do extra push-ups just for that lapse in judgement!

Stay tuned.

About Me

KarenHello and welcome.
I am often asked, “What is Pasta on the Floor?”
Pasta on the Floor is different for everyone. It is a recipe that tells a story and inspires them to try something new. For others, stories of family, joy, loss, and hope engage with them. This brings me a great deal of happiness. I do not take myself too seriously, so be forewarned the subject matter is open and truthful. In many ways, Pasta is a tale of life, and I think you will find familiarity and commonality as you scroll through these pages.
