One Hundred Push-ups: Week Four/Day Two

by | Oct 20, 2011 | Blog | 0 comments

So far so good. I am still progressing with the plan and I will take another run at trying the push-ups from the chair level.

On a side note, I realized today that I have done something right in raising my kids.  I was taking my daughter to the eye doctor when the skies opened up with a sun shower.  We were chatting away when she yelled out, “look!”.  It was a beautiful rainbow right across the sky.  She and I sat there for a minute at that red light and just looked at it in awe. She is a great kid.

My son brought home his school pictures and for the first time since he has been in middle school, I looked at him like a little man, not a little boy. He too is growing up and is totally disgusted with me over my lack of skill, competence and flat out desire to embrace this iPhone that I am now cursed with. I still pine for my Blackberry…..and for the days when I was a hero making a grilled cheese sandwich!

About Me

KarenHello and welcome.
I am often asked, “What is Pasta on the Floor?”
Pasta on the Floor is different for everyone. It is a recipe that tells a story and inspires them to try something new. For others, stories of family, joy, loss, and hope engage with them. This brings me a great deal of happiness. I do not take myself too seriously, so be forewarned the subject matter is open and truthful. In many ways, Pasta is a tale of life, and I think you will find familiarity and commonality as you scroll through these pages.
