One Hundred Push-Ups: Week Five/UGH

by | Oct 24, 2011 | Blog | 0 comments

I am in a push-up funk, or perhaps a life funk.  Well not really but I am not feelin’ the love for these push-ups.  I can comfortably perform 48 wall or counter push-ups with minimal rest in between.  I decided to shake it up a bit and move my push-ups days from Mon-Wed-Fri to  Tues-Thurs-Sat.

Maybe this will help; maybe I will get up tomorrow and just pound out those first 30 or so knee push-ups on the floor; or maybe not. Maybe the Starbucks God will provide some divine intervention in the form of a Venti, non-fat, extra shot latte with light carmel drizzle.

I know my partners in crime on this quest are losing their faith too but we need to push forward. As I am yawning at my desk, I am going to chug-a-lug a protein shake and head out to Zumba.  Laurie teaches a beautiful class and sweating like that inspires me to do better.

Funny how that works.

About Me

KarenHello and welcome.
I am often asked, “What is Pasta on the Floor?”
Pasta on the Floor is different for everyone. It is a recipe that tells a story and inspires them to try something new. For others, stories of family, joy, loss, and hope engage with them. This brings me a great deal of happiness. I do not take myself too seriously, so be forewarned the subject matter is open and truthful. In many ways, Pasta is a tale of life, and I think you will find familiarity and commonality as you scroll through these pages.
