Guest blogger- Caramel Apple Sangria

by | Oct 11, 2017 | Appetizers, Blog, Food and Cooking, From the Kitchen, Wednesday's Recipe for Saturday's Dinner | 0 comments

This is the blog’s first cocktail recipe and this evening I am pleased to welcome my guest blogger, Sandy.  Sandy is a connoisseur and creator of fine Sangria and this is no exception. Her stories are funny and entertaining and I can only assume many are born from her great Sangria!

I pitched this recipe to my family for pre-Thanksgiving dinner snack time.  I intend to couple this with warm brie and crusty bread. It is sure to be a winner.

And here is Sandy’s creation in her own words. Enjoy it.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup of caramel vodka
  • 1 cup apple liquor
  • 750 ML white wine (I used sparkling white)
  • 2 green apples cut up
  • 2 peaches cut up
  • Cinnamon stick

Instructions:

Combine all of the ingredients in a large pitcher

Chill and serve.

Pastaonthefloor note:  I believe Sandy let this chill for a few hours prior to guest arrival.

About Me

KarenHello and welcome.
I am often asked, “What is Pasta on the Floor?”
Pasta on the Floor is different for everyone. It is a recipe that tells a story and inspires them to try something new. For others, stories of family, joy, loss, and hope engage with them. This brings me a great deal of happiness. I do not take myself too seriously, so be forewarned the subject matter is open and truthful. In many ways, Pasta is a tale of life, and I think you will find familiarity and commonality as you scroll through these pages.
