From our table to yours…

We wish you a Happy Thanksgiving! On this day, may I offer some thoughts and blessings to you all?

May your:

College children be sleeping in their beds this morning as family life returns. (Roll Tide and Go Tigers!)

Travels be easy, and your family and friends arrive to your home safely.

Table be blessed with wonderful food and wine. (there is no shame in adding a pasta course to your dinner, just saying)

Coffee pot be full, your French press ready to go and that little bottle of Bailey’s be available for a little holiday spike.

Dessert plates be full of sweets and your laughter fill the room as you debate whether to have a small slice of all the pies or one big piece of your favorite.

Favorite football team win the game. (I’m a Bills fan, there is no chance.)

Cleanup be swift.

Dog sit patiently and wait for that little bit of turkey.

Sister put out a warm and toasty blanket for you to cuddle up and drift to sleep after your heart, soul and belly are full.

May the year be good to you until its turkey day once more.

Happy Thanksgiving all and to all a good day!

PS if you are running the turkey trot in upstate NY today, may your long john’s be thick, your socks extra warm and your flask be filled to the brim.

About Me

KarenHello and welcome.
I am often asked, “What is Pasta on the Floor?”
Pasta on the Floor is different for everyone. It is a recipe that tells a story and inspires them to try something new. For others, stories of family, joy, loss, and hope engage with them. This brings me a great deal of happiness. I do not take myself too seriously, so be forewarned the subject matter is open and truthful. In many ways, Pasta is a tale of life, and I think you will find familiarity and commonality as you scroll through these pages.
