Day Five: Chocolate and Zumba, really?

by | Mar 13, 2011 | Blog | 1 comment

Day Five and I am now dreaming about chocolate. I had a little come-to-Jesus talk with myself this week and decided to concentrate on my health and activity levels.  I have said in the past that I love Zumba and take classes at least 6 times a week.  This morning’s class was wonderful. I was cruising along and working as hard as I could. When I checked my BodyBugg half way through I had burned 326 calories…sweet.

So I am getting a drink of water and what song comes on next: “Choc-o-latte”!  Nice.  And the verse repeats the word choc-o-latte about 30 times…..and Judy, our fearless leader, shouts for the dance direction, “Stir that chocolate!”  Are you kidding me?  I am dying here.

So I thought to take my mind off the deprivation negative aspect of it, I would collect chocolate recipes from my favorite cookbooks and post them here for all of you to enjoy until I can once again, turn to that Mallo Cup for peace.

42 days to go.

It’s nice to see you writing more regularly. This series is a great motivator. I can hardly wait for tomorrow’s episode of “POTF Does Lent.”

About Me

KarenHello and welcome.
I am often asked, “What is Pasta on the Floor?”
Pasta on the Floor is different for everyone. It is a recipe that tells a story and inspires them to try something new. For others, stories of family, joy, loss, and hope engage with them. This brings me a great deal of happiness. I do not take myself too seriously, so be forewarned the subject matter is open and truthful. In many ways, Pasta is a tale of life, and I think you will find familiarity and commonality as you scroll through these pages.
