Day Eight: Deprivation and hallucination: Chocolate Pizza

As promised, here is a great recipe for Chocolate Pizza.  I modified the recipe from “giada’s family dinners” cookbook.
Ingredients:
1 pound of store bought or homemade pizza dough. (I prefer Perrecas in Schenectady)
3 teaspoons of melted butter (real butter, no substitutions)
Nutella Spread (chocolate hazelnut) to be used as desired
White chocolate chips
Semisweet chocolate chips
Chopped nuts of your choice
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
I roll out the dough and place into a regular pizza pan (9 inches). You can also line a baking sheet with parchment and place the rolled out dough on that, if you prefer.
Brush the dough with the melted butter and bake about 20 minutes. The crust will get nice and brown.  Take it out and spread the Nutella over the crust.
Sprinkle with your choices of chocolate chips and nuts. Sky’s the limit!
Return the creation to the over for a minute or two so it all melts.  Cut as you would a pizza and enjoy.
Now that is a beautiful thing!  38 days to go…..

About Me

KarenHello and welcome.
I am often asked, “What is Pasta on the Floor?”
Pasta on the Floor is different for everyone. It is a recipe that tells a story and inspires them to try something new. For others, stories of family, joy, loss, and hope engage with them. This brings me a great deal of happiness. I do not take myself too seriously, so be forewarned the subject matter is open and truthful. In many ways, Pasta is a tale of life, and I think you will find familiarity and commonality as you scroll through these pages.
